Ecole Dickinsfield School & $10,000

Ecole Dickinsfield School won a BP Oil A+For Energy Grant for $10,000 to help our school community have less waste in our lunches.

We're doing it by sharing lots of information and fun waste free lunch stuff with the students, parents and staff.

This is a follow-up to the grant last year, $10,000 to help our school support Fort McMurray's Single-Use Bag Ban. Check out the website http://www.banthebag.blogspot.com/  

While learning about plastic & other bags and the problems and solutions, Ms Cochrane's Grade 3 class showed they were committed to reducing their waste.
